About the company

Who we are

Export consulting with a presence both in Moscow and on the ground in Africa

Sirius is a consulting company that helps manufacturers from Russia and the CIS enter African markets. We handle the entire journey: from choosing a country and analyzing demand to certification, logistics and the first regular shipments.

Our core competence is representing your interests before government bodies in African countries: ministries, regulators and chambers of commerce. This is what allows us to pass regulatory procedures faster and reach decision-makers directly.

We open doors that cannot be opened directly.

We work on the ground: the company has a representative office in the region and local partners in every priority country. Our head office is in Moscow, with an international office in Hong Kong. This lets us negotiate, control shipments and resolve issues on site rather than remotely.

If you decide to open your own representative office and manage supplies yourself, we provide full business and legal consulting and support.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What about sanctions? Is it even possible to work with Africa?
African countries have not joined the sanctions pressure. Settlements are made in national currencies, yuan and UAE dirhams. We select a legal financial scheme for each project.
Which countries are the most promising right now?
For food products — South Africa and Angola; for fertilizers — Zambia and Zimbabwe; for pharmaceuticals and consumer goods — South Africa and Botswana. Central and North Africa are added on request. At the first consultation we will help you choose the right market for your product.
How much does market entry cost?
It depends on the country, product and scale. A basic market study starts from RUB 300,000; the full turnkey cycle is priced individually. After the first consultation we provide an exact estimate.
Do you have a presence in Africa?
We have a company registered in the region and local partners in each priority country. This lets us do business on the ground rather than remotely.
How long does an export launch take?
On average 6 months from contract signing to the first shipment. The main bottleneck is product certification, which can take 2 to 4 months.
